Do you want to sleep in the idyllic Geita lighthouse? Both the entire lighthouse-keeper’s house and boathouse are available for private hire.

Geita lighthouse is in the shipping lanes east of Værlandet, in the municipality of Askvoll. The lighthouse was built in 1897. It was then automated in 1980 and given heritage listing in 1999. Its location at the top of the island of Geita in Aldefjorden makes it a prominent landmark. From Geita lighthouse, you have a fantastic 360 degree view!

The structure represents the small wooden beacon, and the tall, pointed cupola on the roof of the lighthouse gives it a distinct character. The lighthouse-keeper’s house, which sleeps up to ten people, is now available for private hire. The boathouse is also available to hire for just one night, for parties, fishing or a barbecue.
