By car
The most popular route from Bergen to the region is to take the E39 north to the ferry crossing from Oppdal to Larvik. If you prefer a different route with less traffic and more open landscape, we recommend driving north along the coast. When you reach Knarvik, head for Lindås then to the ferry crossing from Leirvåg to Sløvåg.

Express boat service
Travelling by express boat along the coast is a comfortable way to experience the beautiful coastal and fjord landscapes. The express boat from Bergen provides links between the towns and villages along the coast, and has several stops in the region.
From Monday to Friday, the express boat has two return trips from Bergen per day. On Saturdays and Sundays, the service runs once a day. Go to norled.no for timetables and to buy tickets.
By plane
Widerøe has several flights daily from Bergen to both Florø and Førde. Go to wideroe.no for tickets and information.
