Engelbua is a typical boathouse, of the kind to be found along the Norwegian coast. It is part of a boathouse cluster in the picturesque Værøyhamna. Here your local guide, Ruth Bakke, takes us back to the 1950s, when the local fishermen went out fishing for dogfish (a small shark) in the area of sea west of Værlandet. Guests can also take part in preparations for fishing, including putting bait on the fishing hooks.
Guided tours of the museum are available at certain times during the summer
